I was referred here by one of my close cousins, and I must say I am impressed. I met Alex and right off the bat, he knew what direction I was going with my car and never hesitated to answer any of my numerous inquiries of what parts to get and quoted my prices that were way cheaper than anywhere else I could find locally. He has many years of experience and tells you how it is straight, with detailed descriptions of what he's going to do and exactly how he's going to do it. He's the only mechanic I'd trust with my car, very professional and personable. I'd recommend him in a heartbeat!

I came here to get an aftermarket clutch and lightweight flywheel installed, and I've never had a more pleasant experience. Not only did Alex offer the best price for the work, he was the quickest to respond to my quote request, and he was respectful through every exchange. All the work was done within a day, and Alex even called me during the process to let me know how things were going. I'm really picky when it comes to other people working on my car, and L-Spec passed with flying colors. My car drives like an absolute dream now with my new clutch and flywheel!

Rolling up to the shop, you'll see 240's, Z's, Supras, and other popular imports being worked on here. Plus their website states they're factory trained to work on ALL Skylines, and they even helped build Carlos Lago's famous LS3 240SS (look it up on YouTube; it's beautiful). Any shop qualified to work on Skylines and Supras is definitely qualified to work on my dinky little Hyundai. This is going to be THE place I go to now if my car needs any kind of work I can't do myself. And in the future when I get a more serious, track-oriented car, I'll definitely be taking it here.

I've already talked highly of this shop to friends and family, so now I'm sharing my experience here. If you care about your car at all, you owe it to yourself to check this place out if you need any kind of work done. You won't be disappointed.

I just purchased and '05 Infiniti G35 Coupe 6MT over a month ago.  I noticed a clicking noise coming from the rear passenger axle.  I did my research and read numerous forums, including TSB from Nissan.  I know the dealers could be a rip off most of the time, do I started to ask tuner friends where to go.  Thankfully a good friend of mine recommended L-Spec.  Fifteen minutes from my house, it was convenient. I spoke to the Owner/Head technician Alex and he was aware of the TSB. He performed the work thoroughly with other recommendations for the future which were informative.  Reasonably priced and friendly atmosphere. Thank you to Alex for a courteous, efficient experience.  Will be returning in the near future for more services, including performance parts upgrades.

Once again, YELP did not disappoint.  I took my car into L-Spec based on all the 5 star reviews here.

I spoke to Alex early in the morning and he had me bring my car in a couple hours later.  The dealer had told me I needed over $500 worth of work.  Alex inspected my car and assured me that I didn't need any of that.  He was very friendly, HONEST, knowledgeable and down to earth.  As a woman, I am always leery of mechanics trying to take me for a ride, but I felt very comfortable that Alex was being honest with me.

I will be bringing my car to him from now on.
